How are we different? We offer students multiple opportunities to perform. Our students continually learn

and broaden their knowledge by attending conventions

and having visits from guest instructors. We provide hands on training in all classes.

Miss Allegra

Allegra is a sophomore at Missouri S&T and second year member of the Gold Miners Dance Team. She has a strong passion for teaching and working with children. Her enthusiasm for life pours out of her and we are so happy to have her as an instructor this year!

Miss Samantha

Samantha grew up in the St. Louis suburbs and started dancing at the age of three. She has trained in tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical. She started assisting in middle school at her childhood studio and continued through her senior year of high school. Through those years she learned that she values teaching over dancing, as she loves connecting with each child an watching them grow throughout the year both as a dancer and a person. Samantha is now a student at Missouri S&T studying Biology with plans to graduate in May 2018 and go on to grad school. She is the Historian of the S&T Ballet and Dance Club where you can see her perform in Aladdin this February!

Miss Lily

Lily knows her way around a dance studio being the daughter of a dance studio owner. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, tumbling, and pointe.  Lily competed while growing up and began assisting in middle school. She is a sophomore at Missouri S&T working towards a chemical engineering degree. We are thrilled to have Lily as part of our team!

Miss Leanne

Leanne started her dance career at the age of three with her mother. She danced primarily in her hometown of Rapid City, SD, only leaving for three years to study at a Royal Academy of Ballet school while in England. She trained foremost in ballet, but also in pointe, jazz, lyrical/contemporary and modern. At her home studio she was a mentor for the early childhood program and a member of Ekphrasis Dance Company. Since moving to Rolla for college, she has joined the Ballet and Dance Club and has performed in both The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland. She has taught classes to the club members and choreographed for each performance.

Kelsey grew up dancing in St. Louis, MO since the age of three. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, modern, break dancing, poms and gymnastics. She began student teaching at her home studio during junior high and continued to become a choreographer for their competition team while in college. Kelsey was a four year member of her high school dance team and was Captain both her junior and senior years. As Captain, she led her team to many victories at competitions and taught other team members what it means to support each other in all circumstances. When Kelsey moved to Kansas City to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Geology, she taught for a studio in Blue Springs, MO where she helped build their competition team and took ballet and pointe through University of Missouri-Kansas City's esteemed Conservatory. After graduation, Kelsey moved to Salem, MO with her husband and taught for a studio in Rolla, MO for a year. In 2014, Kelsey's life took her in a new direction when she opened her own dance studio. No matter where Kelsey has taught, she has been recognized for her outstanding dedication and responsibility to her students on many occasions and has been presented Choreography Awards for multiple routines. She is known for her commitment, perseverance, passion and sincerity. Kelsey's love and passion for dance continues to grow and she is constantly striving to improve herself for her dancers! Kelsey enjoys outdoor activities with her family and raising her daughter, Anna Jo.
